I have just graduated the University of Manchester with a first in English and Drama. Throughout my time at uni I really leaned towards a career working in media and had a radio show entitled Tell Me About It with one of my closest friends Georgia throughout the entire duration of our studies. In my final year I took a module entitled 'Creative Writing: Non-Fiction' and absolutely fell in love with travel writing, personal essays and longform journalism. Now that I am graduated and looking for a job in a creative industry I wanted to have a place to continue my writing and perhaps a few other projects. I'm currently an English teaching assistant at a school in Burnage whilst I chase my creative aspirations on the side and I live with two other young, independent, creative women in the centre of town and this is my space to tell you about it.
